This is our second destination on our one day trip to Mysore, India on 15 November 2018. This sand museum is a compact museum devoted to sand art, housing several intricate sculptures.

The Sand Museum is located in Chamundi Hill Road, KC Layout, Mysuru, Karnataka 570010, India. Open from 10:00am and close at 18.30.

We paid Rs. 50 for each person. We got lucky that time because we went on weekday, so not much people there. Once you go inside, you will see the sand sculpture creations right away and it needs only around 30 minutes to one hour for exploring the museum.

Here are what we captured with our mobile :

The museum itself is not that big, but they show beautiful sand art with different stories. Before you reach the exit door, just like the other public place there are few shops selling souvenirs, we bought one head massage tool. I know there is no relation between the place and the massage tool but we just couldn't stop our self for buying that because it's really useful (that time we think so) and the sales is really good at his job. :D
